About
A locally owned independent cinema and arts venue on North College Avenue showing indie releases and classic films, with a bar, food, outdoor screenings and live music.
The Lyric is Fort Collins' independent movie theater. This locally owned venue on North College Avenue moved into its current complex in 2018. Its lineup leans toward smaller-studio releases, documentaries and throwback titles. It also screens work by local filmmakers and runs its own film festival with area nonprofits.
The venue has more than movies: an in-house bar with local beer, food, an outdoor screening area, and an outdoor stage for live music. Many events are one-night screenings or concerts, so check the schedule before you go. Programming runs from PG classics to R-rated indie films, so families should check the rating first.
