Just a Pinch Bakery brings a Texas tradition to north Loveland. The owners grew up in Texas, and the shop is built around kolaches, the filled pastries with Czech roots. Fillings range from sausage, cheese and jalapeño to apricot, poppy seed and strawberry. Meatless options include green chile egg and mushroom brie.
The bakery also makes cinnamon rolls, brownies and muffins, and its holiday pies get good reviews. Hours are short: Wednesday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and shorter weekend mornings. It's closed Monday and Tuesday. The sausage kolaches can sell out by mid-morning, so go early.
